New York City
June 10-14, 2005
In May of 2004 Mary Ann was invited to sing in Carnegie Hall in a performance
of Faure's Requiem scheduled for the following summer (June 2005).
Our time in New York was short, and sightseeing took a back seat to rehearsing,
so we decided to focus on "experiencing" the city rather than photographing it.
Thus our photos are not masterpieces of art, but they do show you some of the
adventures that two backwoods country folks had in the big city.
Photography in Carnegie Hall itself was strictly forbidden, even during dress rehearsal,
so we have no record of our *amazing* performance of Faure's Requiem.
But we'll always have the memories of that awesome day!!
Special thanks to Maestro Ronnie Sanders for making it all happen!
